1. NZXT and I think it's 600 watts or whatever. It was donated from a friend, I can upgrade if I have to.
2. 1920x1080.
3. I don't get too crazy with games. I've had my fun with Mafia 2, I load up GTA IV every once in a while, some source games (TF2 and CSS are notables), Borderlands OBVIOUSLY, and I've been playing Starcraft 2 a lot. I would like something mildly-futureproof for the next year or two, then I think I'm going to retire this PC and build a new one.

Any specific brand of PSU I should look out for? I know there's a few brands that people worship and a few that people stay away from.

Corsair and OCZ are the best PSU brands.
Maybe antec?
Corsair, XFX, Antec and OCZ are all good, also Enermax and PC Power & Cooling

no, Enermax and PC P&C > all, Corsair is third best with Seasonic/Antec close behind and the rest are pretty much the same except for the absolute shit stuff like NZXT and Logisys

heresy, the 1500w silverstone modular is the nicest power supply I have ever worked with. Not on my build though, friends build and happily powering sli 480's oc'ed no problem

Dude man, you're wasting your money. 4850 is fine for right now. My 4850 hasn't had a problem with anything, ever.
I guess if you have 300-ish bucks to blow on a graphics card that gets you an extra 5fps then go for it. :rolleye:

I've played games fine on an 8800 GTX at 1920x1200
that's not even the point, you pay more for graphics cards to get more performance. If that wasn't the case we wouldn't have 50 different graphics cards from each company
