i'm looking at buying a new graphics card, and i think i'm gonna go with the 6950. But does it matter which brand i get it from? And if yes, which one is the best?
Are you going to run in Eyefinity? If yes, then get either the MSI or Sapphire 2GB version: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127562 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102945 If not, then get the 1GB version: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102949
Would a 2GB card be overkill for a 1080p screen? Btw, thanks for your reply :)
Would a 2GB card be overkill for a 1080p screen? Btw, thanks for your reply :)
Yes, anything at or under 1920x1080 is good for a 1GB card. Unless you are going for max AA/AF and other maxed out settings, then the 1GB will do you well. Only get 2GB if you have multiple monitors.
What do you think about this card? It's fairly priced and has good speeds as far as i know and does also have 2GB. It's the HIS RHD 6950 2GB IceQ X Turbo.
