So heres the deal, I'm on a 2 year contract with T-Mobile that is running out soon and I want to upgrade my outdated G1. I'd love a Nexus One but I'm on a family plan and it simply isn't possible to upgrade to one.
I'm really considering a HTC HD2 but I'm not sure yet. Any other suggestions?

The Desire isn't available on T-Mobile, I should've clarified, T-Mobile US.
My sister just got an HD2 and loves it. I personally have a Blackberry Bold 9700 and am not sure how I ever lived without it.
I have an hd2 and it's great. I haven't found anything I don't like about it. Except maybe you can't put it in the front pocket of jeans because its so big. But that's something I knew I was getting myself into.
The HD2 is a HUUGE screen, I think it's slightly [i]too[/i] big but it's a great phone.
While the hardware of the HD2 is amazing, it's running windows mobile which isn't great. Look on the internet and see if you can flash a custom android rom or something.
There are plenty of custom roms for it. I'll probably use one eventually.
But windows mobile isn't bad at all. Just a few places deep in the settings where it really gets bad. Otherwise its almost completely covered up by HTC sense.

My mom is now considering moving to Verizon now that we can cancel out T-Mobile account for only $50. I'll most likely be buying a Droid Incredible :)
