My computer has been acting strangely over the last few.. months. Random freezes, poor performance and some BSODS every now and again.
Recently though, I had problems with partitioning my drive for linux installation, and switched back to Windows 7. With another problem last week (PC couldn't find the HDD, but I rebooted and it fixed itself) and constant freezes, rebooting and very bad performance, I'm beginning to think it's my hard drive. What do you guys think?
Specs:
e6400 @ 2.13ghz
1.5gm RAM
x300 series gpu
250gb hdd
Could be anything hardware related, try a different HDD?
Not enough Power, faulty connection, bad HDD, etc..
I don't have any spares lying around, that's the problem D:
Any other signs I should be looking out for?

Overheating perhaps.
The computer's fan becomes VERY loud when doing certain intensive tasks, can also happen randomly.
It could also be a ram issue
How could I check if it's faulty RAM?
It sounds like a loose power connection.
It sounds like something is not right! xD
