Lurk a lot. Think before you post. Don't use text emoticons, use proper grammar/punctuation/spelling. Don't post memes, they're generally considered unfunny, and will probably get you banned. Reaction images are also a no go, they're bannable.

It's generally a good idea to lurk for a while and not attempt to comment on everything right away. At least that's what I did; I joined a year before YourFriendJoe but he already has about 3,000 more posts than me.

Nothing wrong with posting a lot, though, Facepunch culture just takes some getting used to so as to not come off as a complete idiot/ass.
