I understand the reason for doing this but ffs really?
Well i dont blame the people posting the comments, Pork is great and even better when your 21000 feet above the earth.
What was their reasoning behind removing it in the first place?
Because of their new alliance with Emirates and because they are a arab airline and all.

"Qantas flies to every continent around the world and our on board catering is tailored to meet the differing tastes and cultures to each city that we fly to."
probably cultural/religious.

Yeah but knowing Quantas it probably means no pork on any of their flights.

Well with the whole Pork being forbidden in Islam thing, yeah - but it seems strange that it's been removed from flights between Australia and Europe that only briefly stop off in Dubai
I would've thought they could've just marked which meals contained pork?

Wouldn't really help.
I knew that, at least for Jewish people, the fact that the airline serves pork in the first place makes the whole thing non-kosher.

Apparently you aren't allowed to take pork into Dubai, although I will have to check that.
Edit: Nope, my uncle lied.

Only as a quarantine measure as in many other countries - you can consume pork in the UAE if you're a non-Muslim
Well thats kind of useless then. Theres an option before the flight where you choose what type of meal you want. Im not seeing them only serve salads because of the vegetarians, and they're all over the world

because nobody gives a shit about vegetarians
Jokes on them, it's all horse meat anyway muhahahahha
Or the people crazy enough to be offended by food could not order it.
