Their existence in the new bladerunner felt like silly alternate reality/80's nostalgia bait but the idea of not-atari building a new (casino) gaming empire out of the name feels right at home now

Feels like they just licence it out for a quick buck off the retro gaming scene but there's been not-scummy stuff now and again moving to casinos is kind of a funnily sensible move given all the people who [i]actually[/i] grew up with atari are at an age where gambling isn't out of the ordinary
