trying to write a song, brain dead, help me facepunch - General

so I'm sitting here for like 4 hours trying to write a song on the guitar about my x girlfriend of 6 years, I just found out she got engaged to some pud she's only known for like 8 months. I can't think of anything but that, and my guitar skills are pretty reasonable, anything that might fit into this situation

First off, put down the axe.

Write a song about you sitting there for 4 hours thinking of a song.

Write a song about shit 14 year old girls like.

If you don't have any instant inspiration or even the slightest feel on how it's supposed to be like, then you should quit while you're still behind

Find an already famous rock/pop song and just change the melody slightly. No one will notice.
