This means that the prison sentences and fines against the defendants are now final. The Pirate Bay website itself, however, wasn’t part of the trial and will remain operational as normal. That is, unless the US Government chooses to intervene. [b]In 2010 it was reported that both The Pirate Bay and MegaUpload barely escaped a domain seizure. Although it wasn’t entirely clear at the time, one of the assumptions was that in the case of The Pirate Bay the pending trial against several people involved with the site acted as a roadblock. Today this last barrier was removed. And with MegaUpload also out of the way, the largest torrent site on the Internet is now a prime target for a domain seizure.[/b] The people running The Pirate Bay are aware of this risk and quickly redirected the site to a Swedish .se domain, outside the reach of US authorities. Both were returning page not available messages, but are both live at the time of publishing. The web site was also down in a range of other locations, according to messages on Twitter. "UPDATE: Reports of The Pirate Bay being down in Australia, UK, England, Korea, Canada, Mexico and New Zealand have been confirmed," says a tweet from the @Youranonnews account. So far The Pirate Bay's Twitter has been silent on what happened. Yesterday though, it was very vocal, and following the announcement that some of its founders had lost a supreme court appeal, it released a new logo, a black fist, and voiced its intention to remain strong in 2012. Obviously we aren't all hungry but there a major parts of the world that lack food. USA may appear like we all can eat but it isn't like that. There a still families that thrive on food. I even went out and helped a local church to feed the poor from our town. Life is special and it's honestly unfair how those can just be put into a world where they can live for only a few years because people needed too much. Hunger is indeed every where in the world.

I think the government is at fault, they support the big corps way too much with all these soaps and stuff. People say russia is corrupted, but so is US. Hell it's legal to take bribes as long as you rename them to contributions or donations. Nothing right now is stopping the corps from doing what they're doing, which is the real problem here. But I don't have any idea as to what can be done seeing as occupy and other protests have failed. US need to really tax the rich more, keep companies in control and work more for the people, but that's just a dream.
