Randomly after extracting archives or installing stuff it doesn't allow me access to any file/folder. If I try to rename/move anything in the folder or the folder itself I get this: User account control is turned off and all permissions are set to full control. Also, I'm able to delete some files/folders but after refreshing they're back. This is happening to random files and folders that are new/recently used. Not to mention, explorer.exe is the only critical process running. Recently I've disabled a lot of services but nothing that would affect any permissions I'd think. I've tried everything, from Taking forced permission by command prompt, closing explorer.exe and restarting it, cleaning temporary folders, to scanning for malware/spyware. I've used Spybot Search&Destroy, Malware Bits&Bytes, Kaspersky, but no results so that's not it, not to mention that I've never had any virus but it's windows messing with me. Is there any explanation of why this is happening and a way around it or to disable this blockade?
You could try using unlocker to get round it. You can get it from here: http://www.filehippo.com/download_unlocker/download/cabc22fd2a03b6da17791d9855e0d5f4/
I'm afraid I tried it also, just doesn't detect what's happening.
you can try booting into a live windows/linux cd and deleting whatever's causing the problem.
