• Extra Credits - NOT a security episode

For any of you that don't know, Extra Credits is a video series from the Escapist, which is the same site that has Yahtzee and his awesome series Zero Punctuation. I figured I'd post this because it's bound to open up a lot of discussion. It's on the PSN hacking and what Sony did to "welcome" us back and such. I strongly agree with the views in this. Sony basically is promoting PS+ and high profile games that already have sequels or are a series. I also agree that Sony went crazy on deciding whether to tell us they stored our info and what they did with it, etc. They felt it would be SO bad to come out and tell us, that their image would be of like pure evil or some shit. Why must he alter his voice to make it sound so annoying? Interesting video, anyway
He makes a good point about the Apple v. Google thing. Treating your customer like a retard and sharing the least possible amount of information with them is not exactly a way to build up goodwill. Unless you're apple, who's userbase would defend a clause in the iTunes service agreement that legally obliged you to have anal sex with any apple employee who asks.
