Damn it Joe's making me miss my hometown.
Can confirm that pretty much all Thai people are shy, timid, mild-mannered, and deal with every weird social situation by smiling at people until they give in. I've lived in the USA for almost ten years now and I still have this habit of just smiling at people as sweetly as I can in lots of social interactions :v:
