Malaysia has said two female attackers wielding VX nerve agent killed Kim on Feb. 13 at a crowded airport in Kuala Lumpur. Malaysia's investigation has infuriated North Korea, which has dismissed the inquiry as politically motivated.

The dispute took a surprising turn on Tuesday, when North Korea announced that it was blocking all Malaysians from leaving the country until the dispute is resolved.

"It's the North Korean way of doing things — dramatic intimidating gestures and then waiting for the other side to plead for some concessions," said Leszek Buszynski, a national security scholar at Australian National University who has written extensively on North Korean diplomacy.
Title says all Malaysians currently in NK are being held hostage, not just one.
"How dare you investigate a murder" lmao NK is so fucking wacko
'How dare you investigate the murder of our great leader's brother?'
??
EDIT: The hivemind struck again …
How to look guilty 101:
Hold hostages in order to prevent further investigation
North Korea is a G. I. Joe villain.
It's mildly funny. Almost everyone joked that Kim Jong Il was a tyrant and nuts but he was just the beginning. His fat fuck of a son is off the absolute rails in comparison.
I wonder if he throws a childish tantrum when he doesn't get his way? It sure as hell looks like he does judging by his actions when things go wrong (like he's overcompensating...).
Missile explodes in mid air during a test? Kill the engineer in some movie esque execution and make more missiles which are the best in the world because they're N.Korean~.
National hunger crisis? Naah. I'm going to stuff my fat face until I get gout. Someone told me I had a narcissistic tendency? Kill them and order all the men to have the same hairstyle as me to prove them wrong!
What a fucking joke he is.
How many Malaysians are in North Korea?
How many Malaysians are in North Korea?
Last I heard there was around 11 people
So.. if it's found that N.K was responsible (who woulda' thunk).. what then?
I'm not a pro at law either, but murder in Malaysia is awarded with capital punishment, worst being death penalty. Foreigners are not exempt from the death penalty.
So by right they would be tried and receive punishment in Malaysia, or arrange something with North Korea.
But since 4 of the ?mastermind already fled to North Korea, all we can do is just hope they will play by the rules
In 2014, a Malaysian diplomat was a suspect in New Zealand for a sexual harrassment case. Diplomats have immunities. So we drop the diplomat status of the suspect, and let him be investigated by New Zealand. Both country works together to solve problems, thats how it should be.
But don't forget that this world actually plays by the law of the jungle. Civility is just a privilege, and a facade, used when convenient.
