Huh.... I wonder how big the dlc is. I havn't seen an update/dlc this big since all of BF3's mini updates of 2-3gig each.
They have 4 DLC packs for dead rising 3. In total, 13 GB seems accurate.

It might just be my naivete talking, but isn't this just an update to prepare for a DLC, not the DLC itself? The game has a 13GB update as is, then you have to download the additional DLC? What could possibly in that 13GB of data? Most of the AAA games I own are around that size, if not smaller, than that.
RIP bandwidth-capped gamers
I always like to think with my friend's internet in mind, he'd probably have this update done in about 4 - 5 days.
Don't you love it when a game was just released but they still have time to put out massive 13gb updates for DLC.

It was released almost 3 months ago, that's hardly just released. Also 13gb of content is pretty small in the modern age. And that's coming from someone with a paltry 500gb hard drive.
I was going to rage about this being a DLC download (which youd then need to purchase an access key to unlock.) But it also seems to be a performance update as well as a bunch of bug fixes.
At least capcom can do something right.
For those who don't understand, updates like these are for compatibility so you can play with people/see other people who have the DLC if you don't, it has nothing to do with on-disc DLC or whatever the shit.

In comparison it took Bethesda around 8 months to release the first DLC for skyrim, and it was 500mb.
If you know that gamers love coop in Dead Rising then make the DLC coop supported instead of telling excuse of 'focusing on telling character story'.

Okay, but DOWNLOADING it is a problem, especially with 50% of the U.S. having a speed around 1 megabyte per second, AND having a bandwidth cap on top of that.
