• Microphone not working in Djay Pro

I am using a pair of Stanton DJ PRO 500 MC's in the headphone jack of my Spin 2 in order to use a combined pair of microphones and headphones simultaneously. Unfortunately, it's not coming up on the devices menu in Djay Pro. I can't hook it up as a USB as both the microphone and headphone cords are 6.45mm Aux jacks, and speaking into the microphone doesn't register because I can't divert the source to the Spin 2 (Only choice is Built-in-mic). Any suggestions on how to fix this?

I don't know how this works on mac but in windows you can change default devices in the audio manager. When you plug in your headset/microphone combo try defaulting the 'recording' to whatever your headphones come up as. Then "Built in mic" should do fine. You most likely will need either a USB microphone if its compatible or to interface it. I tried this in pro tools once. The mic never worked for me when I used the 3.5mm jack but USB mics worked.
