Stickboy, Compressorhead's four-armed, drummer rocks out in front of thousands of fans at the Big Day Out music festival

Robots aren't taking over the planet, yet, but they are doing jobs in more and more places: hospitals and offices, movie sets and battlefields. They're making a mark in the world of music, as well.
When it comes to heavy metal, one group has claimed the title of "the world's heaviest metal band." The robot band Compressorhead is a trio of hulking metallic machines designed to play real instruments. Stickboy, the four-armed, mohawked, headbanging drummer, who even has a mini-me on the hi-hat. The guitarist, Fingers, has 78 hydraulic fingers — wires stream out from the arms to trigger notes along the entire fretboard. Bones is on the bass.
The robots cover rock classics, some AC/DC, some Joan Jett, some Led Zeppelin. The robot band got to play their biggest stage yet in January at Big Day Out, an Australian music festival.
Thousands of fans rocked out in the blazing sun to the Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Killers and the robot band they'd never heard of.

Holy shit, this is pretty fucking insane. They were damn near close to getting the solo down.

Now, all they need is Microsoft Sam on vocals.
You know, seeing as we apparently all see the world differently (like literally different colours and stuff), I can't help but wonder how an AI would see the world now.

I don't think that's true...
Anyway I was expecting Daft Punk from the title, wasn't disappointed with what I found.

I would also like to add the first two books confirm my suspicion a large amount of knowledge is often withheld from the public at large for whatever reason. Also, you may find the books contradict each other at times and when this happens I would suggest you don't try looking online for further information, as half the stuff on the internet is probably put out to deliberately mislead the person reading the article and/or more make them easier to manipulate by those higher on up the food chain of information.
Finally, if all of the above books made you really depressed (I know they did for me at one point or another) then I suggest reading this book for an uplift.

As soon as I hear that phrase, I am immediately super skeptical. FLUORINE IN THE WATER! CHEMTRAILS! And all that.

That said, that drummer is rockin'
I wonder if he is just blindly swinging or whether he'd still hit the right drums if they were moved around. I'm betting the former, but the latter would be cool.

I'm almost certain it's true though, and if you read any of the books I posted, especially the first one, I think you would agree at least a little too. What do you want me to do, act like I don't believe the things I do in order to get people on this forum to agree with me more? Sounds a little pointless to me. I mean, I know a large portion of the people who clicked on this thread don't agree with what I said in the post you responded to if the ratings are anything to go by, but just by offering up a different point of view I am informing people on this forum such views do exist, and for me this is enough right now.
Bah, I have seen these before and I wasn't very impressed.
They are all very specifically designed to the one instrument and pose, and sort of "cheat" to work.
I mean, for starters, giving drummer multiple arms is damn lazy, and the "hands" of the guitarists slide on rail, with fingers having just enough freedom of movement to push down the string or to strike it.
I don't think they have any proper sensors, the heads bob just purely for a show, and considering this is all just glorified music box spread onto vertical mannequins, the quality of the play isn't very impressive as well.
I found for example this far more amusing and impressive, because the quadcopters used for this have been only very simply adapted, and while the "instruments" are very improvised and again adjusted to the specific need (mainly the "string board"), it shows some actual imagination and ingenuity, as well as actually versatile robot performing a specific task.
