His corruption appears increasingly flagrant and his betrayal of the uniform, even as a retired general, would be a horrendous precedent.

As Trump's house of cards falls apart more and more, the chances of Putin deciding to act directly to keep Trump propped up only increase proportionally. Its a matter of how well the FBI keeps track of him. Right now, they'd do well to go out in to the middle of the desert in Arizona somewhere and lock themselves up with him until they've gotten all the information and testimony they can wring from him.
