soothing music like eternal sunshine of the spotless mind?

I can't seem to find any soundtracks that sound as soothing as the movie eternal sunshine of the spotless mind
Gotta be more specific.
But I remember a lot of the stuff being "mood" music, rather than being ambient, it kind of creates an atmosphere.
Post a favourite from the ost?

A lot of Beck's stuff is relevant.

The Conversation is one of my favourite movies, and soundtracks, it's mostly jazz/piano stuff I recommend it.
And Bill Evans is awesome... seriously.

In my mind, I tend to think all indie movie soundtracks sound alike. Two that come to mind are Science of Sleep and I Heart Huckabees. I haven't seen any of these in quite a while though. Welcome to the Dollhouse is another I think.

Oh, how could I forget The Fountain. I love that movie.
Brian Eno?

People say Music for Airports is an album to sleep to, but there's no way I can just turn off while hearing something like that.

Falling asleep during music doesn't work like that. It usually works in the way that you music influenced daydreams turn into dreams thus guiding you into sleep without you noticing.

I heard all about your dreaming expertise and none of them work for me. I only remember aspects of the dream, in terms of the way you see things and whatever where as I recall you can remember each and every detail. Off topic.
It was your choice to go offtopic, however I am also quite interested in more music like this since I have nothing like it.
Any specific albums that are a must-have?
