I made him crash through a window and fixed his arms.
Might take a break from this to learn other things besides 3d.
hey oh, export that as an .smd and make a small map of it

I would if I knew how.
Turn up the light :v:
He runs funny.

This.
Pretty good though I guess.
His arms are flailing a little bit too much.
Looks alot like the thirdperson Faith from Mirrors edge
You didn't fix his arms at all. They flail all over the place. Study someone actually running and notice how their arms move. Hell, just look up some hi-FPS slowmotion videos of someone running.
Also the way you just tilt the whole model with the animation to the side to make him run sideways is purely video-game-ish, you don't run smoothly to the side like he does, and you definitely change the way you move your legs.
hmm the running still doesn't look right
Other things besides 3d? Like what?
Strides too long

I'm probably gonna learn some programming or web design. 3ds max is fun and all but you don't have to be smart to do any of it. And since so many people do it I don't think I have much of a chance to get a high paying job in the future.
He's not tilted forwards at all. No one runs back straight.

Well then you can kiss web design/programming goodbye
The fisheye effect is quite weary on the eye and the transition from falling to running is too sharp, fast and robotic. Same could be said for the roll.
And the arms still flail too much. And try putting the hands in fists, I haven't seen anyone run with their hands open.
That was cool! :v: but the arms
Looks like runescape.

You don't have to be smart to do 3d? Seriously? 3d alone has a fuckton of subcategories like modelers, animators, riggers, lighters, renderers and so on. Each one of these requires a lot of knowledge of both the app you use and usually a lot of external stuff like anatomy or architecture or the way light reacts to stuff, composition and so on.
It's like painting, it requires skill, but skill requires you to know about your subjects. Sure it has less maths than programming, but it has more of other stuff.
Sorry if I misunderstood you, but from what you said you should also think that photography requires no intelligence/skill.
Getting a job in 3d industru is actually rather easy, surprisingly you don't even have to be top notch professional. Ofcourse you won't be working with pixar as your first job, but hey, any experience is good experience.
And as dude said, web design is even bigger, there's even more people. You have as much chance as you make it be, especially in digital world.
