Hey everyone. Currently I'm a DJ/audio producer and I need some projects. Any game for any mod, I'm available. I have several examples of my work, such as: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iOQYdvouZ5s
PM me if interested,
Nate

I'm sorry your composition is pretty bland in my opinion
How so?
Where have I heard that song before?
Edit:
Oh shit son, Audio portal on Newgrounds right?
ur bad
I originally submitted it through newgrounds. Here's the song's source: http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/294737
Yeah, when the song started playing I instantly recognized it, mainly because I played it last night.
get some higher strings
because I like it that way
get some higher strings

That would really cause some frequency imbalance because the strings are providing a large amount of the bass and the piano, organ, and spiccato strings are taking all the highs. Probably wouldn't sound the best IMHO.
I like it, if it makes a difference.
I also quite liked the intro.
it's alright, but it doesn't sound too professional to me.
def. sounds like newgrounds material
How so?
The song does the same thing for like two minutes straight and you could probably skip half the song without noticing it change
Put a donk on it
Put a donk on it

I find this pretty offensive.
0:00 - Classical intro
0:33 - Melody changes from classical to upbeat sound.
1:02 - Different sidechained melody
1:17 - Entirely different classical section
1:33 - New, evil melody begins
2:19 - Chorus melody
2:47 - Ending classical outro.
Your logic is heavily flawed.
Wow, DJ Nate from Newgrounds. I've had your music on my mp3 player from a year or two ago. Good stuff, in my opinion at least
But we have http://SongsToWearPantsTo.com to do it free...

Notice how that doesn't follow any particular song structure whatsoever and there's really little common theme or melody running through the entire song that makes it recognizable from any other random techno song you find out there sharing a similar beat
If you're lucky enough to get your request made. Plus, it's really your choice. I make my music in a totally different genre he does.
Mmmm... good stuff mate.
Questions.
1. How do you make these tracks?
2. If you use hardware, which?
3. If you don't then what software.
4. How long does an average 4 minute track take you?

I use FL Studio and its awesome. It's allll software and its all on my laptop, a Lenovo SL500. For VSTis, I use mainly Hypersonic 2 and 3Xosc. I normally have to EQ most of the percussion on Vengeance Essential Club Sounds (an album consisting only of samples e.g. kick drums, cymbals, snares, claps) to get it to sound right.
Average track? I dunno... 4 or 5 days with approx 2-3 hours of work on it a day maybe?

It just sounds like you didn't even listen to the entire song.

So you have no hardware at all? CDJ's etc.
