My friend entered a competition to win the "dream" wedding package at the Aston Villa park, the judges got it down to five couples and last night at a football game in half time the five couples were scheduled to come out and take a penalty shoot out against Aston Villa's mascot, three of the couples did not turn up and it's not down to the final two. For any one who's interested, my friends husband to be has come back from his tour of duty for a few weeks but will soon have to go back to Afghanistan, the next time he comes back will be the date of the wedding (if they win) I think he deserves it to be honest and he's a huge Aston Villa fan.
The prize is worth around five grand and you can read more about it on the website but everything is paid for and in the current economic climate a wedding is something not many people can afford a huge fancy wedding so this really is a once in a life time opportunity for them.
