My dad refused all the other builds you guys helped me out with, so I need to make a new one. It's either this or a pre built 400 dollar HP desktop.
With this build, I need a 1 TB HDD, Operating System, GPU, and DVD drive. Also, corsair ram instead of that g.skill garbage.
Think you guys can help me out?
The i3 2100 outperforms that FX-4100 greatly for only a few bucks, so swap out the motherboard with a P67/Z68 type motherboard if you plan on upgrading later, or the H61/H67 type motherboards which are generally cheaper but don't have some features.
What are you going to use this build for and what is your max budget?
Like Kirby suggested, I'd go with an Intel build.
If you do go with an Intel build, I'd drop the aftermarket cooler unless you plan to overclock. The RAM you chose is also overkill, the LGA1155 uses DDR3-1333, and in my experience, overclocking the FSB to get to DDR3-1600 causes problems, 1866 is going to be worse.

I got some help from a friend and built this.
Whaddya think?
Your friend isn't very good at this. Don't go below an i3-2100 for the CPU.

G.Skill isn't garbage, all ram is basically equal. Corsair fanboys need to get it out of their head that they make the best stuff, because they really don't.
You and your friend picked all the wrong parts.
What is your budget? How much is your dad going to spend? What's it going to be used for? I remember recalling in a previous thread your dad was going to spend $700 maximum, is this still relevant? We can help just give us something to work on.
All the parts listed so far have been truly awful. For the processor, go i3 2100 at least and stay away from Bulldozer, there's no future in the socket and they're outperformed by even the less costly Intel CPUs.

How's this? If you're tight for money, wait for the hard drive prices to reduce - or reduce the graphics card a bit. The AMD x570 (6570, 5570 etc.) actually performs semi-OK on most games. However, don't lower that CPU. Anything lower isn't worth it.
Also what didn't your dad like about FP's previous build?

Super stingy edition:

The more pricey one is recommended, but anyone that doubts the super-stingy editions power is just silly - and the 6570 is a much better card than it is made out to be. See below:

You might need to lower resolution/settings a bit, but what does it matter? Also what's your native screen resolution?

Oh and just stick Windows 7 on the end if you need it.
What's the budget? That's the most important thing.
Judging from his first build, $400, judging from his second build, $600.
Sorry for not being responsive, but I've built this up.

Suggestions? My dad really wants to go low, but is willing to spend 700 dollars.
The things he wants:
-8 gigs of ram (No use in telling me he won't need it, he's stubborn.)
-OS must be included
-Under 600 dollars preferred, close to 700 with convincing
-1 TB HDD
He's really difficult to cater to.

Tell him to make a facepunch account and we'll set him straight.

Did a super modification of Juggernog's idea.
Showed this to my dad and he's pretty much set. Can you guys help me find a case that fits this stuff that isn't completely disgusting?

and you won't be able to use that optical drive as it's IDE
Oh thanks for the heads up.
One last thing, get a neo eco better quality PSU and its only 50 watts less ( not that it even matters anyway ) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371029

These are good suggestions, but make sure you don't buy 1600MHz RAM for that motherboard, as it isn't supported.
Also I hear nothing but bad about Coolermaster PSUs. Corsair, OCZ and Antec all the way.

1600MHz ram will just downclock if it isn't supported. There's almost no price difference between 1333mhz and 1600mhz so it's not an issue.
