REQUEST. Student Film! Need help manipulating Stills! - General

Im currently a student at HHS and i needed help with my stills, they are supposed to introduce the characters of the film with their names and attributes sort of the inglorious bastards thing. I have these 3 stills but not the photoshop skills to make anything out of it. Its a zombie film. So if anyone is willing to help that'd be great! Also, if you do help if you could post a link to the PSD so i can manipulate the layers! Image 1: Title: Jerry Sub Title: The handy man, Without him getting through the apocalypse would be no fun. Perhaps look into doing it through After Effects, I'm also a film student and I introduce characters in this style alot. In After Effects I freeze time, throw a title in + what I need, then unfreeze time. It's easier than messing with pictures, and can get better results too.

Yeah 100% video editing would be best here.

Well my idea actually was to in photoshop use the magic wand tool to cut the character our of a still. And then in after effects or motion, have the characters layer grow a bit with a camera panning across for the 3d look. Thanks for everyones help!

Yes, After Effects. - Imagine it as photoshop for moving image. Research into masking.

What is HHS? A film school?

Like this?: [media]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rYfxriHATng[/media] I know it's pretty corny. But is it that kind of style you're looking for? (probably not the zoom in) I mean with the colour. If so, I did this just through Final Cut Pro. You can probably do a better job on after effects. I just changed the 3 way colour with changing the highlights, midtones and blacks. What are you editing on? (Sorry if this is pretty useless. I'm not pro with this kind of stuff, but I tend to do it a lot myself and wondered if I could help at all).
