• Monitor Recommendations

I have been having screen tearing issues again with Garry's Mod. They seemed to disappear for a while but now they are back. From what I have been told it is due to using a 60Hz monitor. So I guess the time has come to get a new monitor (If I am correct in that being the reason for screen tearing). I have been recommended to upgrade to a 144Hz Monitor, but I have no knowledge of them what so ever. So, what would you guys recommend? I need a monitor that costs less than 160pounds, fast response and little ghosting (What everyone looks for). I'm happy with my normal 1080p if that helps price wise. Any recommendations? Thanks!
Can you post your computer specs? A 144hz panel won't help you too much if your computer cannot pump out similar levels of fps. But here's an acer panel on sale atm: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Acer-Predator-GN246HLBbid-24-inch-Monitor/dp/B00IG0Z0HY/ref=sr_1_2?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1463737757&sr=1-2&keywords=144hz+monitor

Yeah, that should be fine, a 144hz panel will most likely help you out.
