Police are hunting a man who dragged an eight-year-old girl around the grounds of her school in Melbourne's east and verbally and physically abused her before undoing her top. It is believed the girl was playing at the school on Manningtree Road, Hawthorn, about 3.30pm last Thursday, when the man grabbed at the girl and dragged her to a secluded area on the grounds before shouting at her and kicking her. When he tried to undo the little girl's top, she managed to get away, and the offender fled through the front exit of the school.
This fucking made me so god damn mad. I'm glad that this is such an uncommon occurrence in Australia that it warrants an article. Good on you Aussies.
Horrible situation Did no one hear her screaming and his shouting?
Thank god she got away, that could have been worse.
I'm glad that this is such an uncommon occurrence in Australia that it warrants an article. Good on you Aussies.
A local newspaper for the city of Melbourne describing the details of a crime is not indicative of how common a crime is.
FUCK. You dashed my hopes of a rape-free Australia
rip hopes and dreams
FUCK. You dashed my hopes of a rape-free Australia
Stop reading the news. Now everywhere is rape free!
I'm glad that this is such an uncommon occurrence in Australia that it warrants an article. That's just terrible. Thank god she's okay now. The scary thing is anyone that daring is probably willing to try it again. Hopefully they catch the sick bastard.
How does one explain what was happening to them to an 8 year old? It's great he didn't get any further than that but she must still have been terrified as fuck. How can the rapist be so selfish and callous to the harm they are causing?

When a sociopath hurts someone, they feel powerful, they have no guilt, they are killing a person in the most sickeningly intimate way possible, while also leaving them alive on the outside. It's an outright disgusting, despicable act.

At 3:30pm, not long after school finished, you'd think there'd be people around! Why was the poor kid on her own in the first place? Very lucky it didn't end up worse!
That is an amazing hairstyle.
It is!

They take their hobby very seriously.

Yeah, but even in my tiny country primary school the place wasn't deserted 20 minutes after finishing for the day!

Damn... thats awful, hope she isn't too baddly damaged by it...
Yeah but that's the country man, everything is 5km away from each other
Oh, not even close. Everything here's pretty concentrated. But I digress - I'm just saying that from my experience, I can't imagine a school to be completely deserted so quickly after the day ends. Good that the school is introducing more security, it just shouldn't have come to this first.
only the culprit would think that we got 'im boyz
your country ad title says otherwise nice try, rapist!

Either that or I'm high without knowing it.
