Anyone else have one of these tiny little guitars full of awesomeness? I've had mine about a week (it's a pretty crappy Stagg that cost £15, yet sounds pretty good) and I love the tiny thing. Any good songs to play on them?
You sound like me 2 years ago. I uploaded a video on YouTube of me playing Dragonforce on it, within a week of having it. Check it out on YT, check out my (now dead) blog, which has tabs on. Learn to listen to what the ukulele sounds like and pick up stuff from your ear. It's a really easy instrument to navigate around. Have fun. :h:
Thread lacks pictures of Ukuleles. I myself bought an Electric-Acoustic Ukulele a few months ago. Tonnes of fun to play and ridiculously easy
My friend has one. He plays some sick tunes with it.
I have this one http://www.thomann.de/de/harley_benton_msa_uk15_blue.htm I don`t play so good but I try it.
Anyone know of a good site to get chords/tabs for uke from?

I've tried making uke threads in the past, nice to see another one. I have a pair of cheap ukes (one is a telecaster shaped one with a pickup, it's fun to mess around with but doesn't sound great), and two "quality" ones. Ohana Tk-50G Tenor Solid Cedar Top Got this about two years ago, my first "quality" uke. I think it's just a great instrument, it's fun and simple to pick up and yet you can still play it seriously if you want to.
Mandolins are better.

The First one looks nice.
There was a really faggy trend in my school of people playing them badly. I heard this classical guitarist recently do an arrangement of tubular bells for uke, banjo and classical guitar, amazing.

i have a shitty soprano. it un-tunes itself every single night. im buying a lanikai lu-21b (baritone) since i was at a party and someone had one. I played it and now i am in love with baritone ukuleles :buddy: [editline]14th October 2010[/editline] julia nunes was my inspiration to buy a ukulele by the way.
