Ahmadinejad under fire at home for consoling Chavez's mother - Polidicks

Funny. In any other country, he probably would have been applauded for this. Why, to the people of Iran (obviously not all of them), must the words in a book be more important than basic human compassion?

Where is the actual controversy? I don't see any opinion polls, there's just the one quote from that city's prayer leader.
