Kid at my school, 15, arrested for pedophelia/indecent exposure/running from police - General

Okay, so today was a pretty quiet day. I'm driving home from a friend's house, visiting him because he's back from the lung biopsy and chemo treatments. As I'm driving through my neighborhood, I see a kid, nude, running to a truck and driving off, and a cop car following. I heard the rest of the story when I was called by his parents Indirectly, called my parents who are ex-cops, apparently saying I was a "witness" apparently). He apparently was jerking off, nude, by a pool with a bunch of 8 year olds, at a kid's birthday party. Off-duty cop hears noise ,goes out, sees, kid runs away, cop chases in cop car and calls backup.
