A Swedish-Icelandic movie set in medieval Iceland. Icelandic vikings murder an Irish family while on a raid, leaving only a young boy. Years later he comes to Iceland seeking revenge.
The costumes and props were largely made utilizing authentic, viking methods and movie is generally held in high regard for its authenticity.
It's in Icelandic but the video's got English subtitles.

There was more story and character in that first 3 minutes than I've seen in a lot of big budget movies. I like movies like this where they don't waste time getting to the point.
Any time a woman is peacefully humming while holding flowers in the woods you know she's gonna get owned(literally). Those were brutal lives.
