oh wtf. page wont load for me either
Don't shout at people then.
just tell him to buy the most expensive alienware he can find, he seems like the type.
Buy an Asus because it will perform much better than an Alienware or that crappy HP laptop you posted.
hey, it's not your laptop, it's not your life
is his laptop, is his life, if he chose it let him buy it
i mean it won't hurt will it?
WELL... hes got it now so idc. he says it can run dr2???? wtf
-snip-
That's not a gaming laptop my friend. It'll boot, but you will not be able to play Dead Rising 2 or Mafia 2 very well. It might run Portal 2 at medium if you're lucky.
Not really that great of a laptop, and definitely not a 'gaming' laptop. Even though I always suggest desktops are far better, specifically if you build them yourselves (prebuilt gaming desktops tend to be bad value)
My friend, ASUS is most recommended, I easily get 30 - 40 fps when playing EXTREMELY in Left 4 Dead on medium (high gives low frames per second). Depends also on specifications, mines are ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5145 1GB. Multi-Core Intel Core Processor I5-430M, 2.26 GHz - 2.53 turbo. RAM 4GB, Windows 7 Prenium.
I usually recommend Sager, myself.
OP is an idiot.

He asked for our opinions, what are you smoking?

 I get 30-40 fps playing on medium-high in L4D2 in crossover and I have a Mac. If I can beat your computer in a VM with a year and a half old Mac, you cannot call it a good gaming computer.
I get 120+ when playing GMod on my laptop. Has a 5650, i3-330 and 4 gigs of ram.

Source games just aren't much of a challenge for computers any more. Dammit, maybe we really do need a Source 2.0 with Havok 3 DX 10 and all that good stuff.

Just curious, how's the battery life?

Just a random comment here.
I had to fix an asus the other day and Asus WOULD NOT supply a service manual to me due to it being "intellectual Property" - This is in huge contrast to say... Packard bell, HP and Dell, all of which provide the service manuals as an easy download on the support pages or after a nicely worded email.
Opening the thing up was a right pig.
This is not a problem for most, but this has put me off recommending Asus now. (I used to be a fan)
anything from ROG within Asus will yield good results.
