What is the best gaming mouse I can get for this price.
My hands are pretty small so keep that in mind.
I would prefer wireless but it isnt a must.
I would like a few extra buttons.
I've been looking at a ROCCAT Pyra so far but i want second opinions.
Im not really a fan of logitech's mice, i've tried one and i felt really heavy and didnt fit the way i hold it.
I used to use a Logitech MX-600. Quite outdated now. And the current mouse I use is by far out of your price range (I bought that waste of money known as a Razer Mamba). There is a cheaper version of the Mamba available, but it's not really in your price range (Around £10 over, it's called the Razer Orochi if you're interested).
Maybe you should try something like this: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Gigabyte-GM-ECO600-ECO600-Wireless-Mouse/dp/B005AYFWWW/ref=sr_1_13?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1326829266&sr=1-13

I'm actually having a hard time finding a good mouse for you because most gaming mice are of the same size anyway so if you didn't like one logitech, chances are you won't like the IntelliMouse 3.0, any of Razer's products, or any of the other usually recommended mice.
Don't get a Roccat mouse.
Best choice is G400 to be honest.

if your going to say that, gimi a good reason.

35£ so its a little over budget but its really worth it
(mouse i personally use, for the price its almost certainly the best mouse you can buy. I am an fps gamer and had a razer deathadder, and roccat kone+ and i much prefer the g500)

As i said, i don't really like Logitech mice, i don't like the way they are shaped or the wait.
And the dpi thing............................... it would just clutter the mouse for me.
You don't notice the dpi buttons at all, personally the grip i have on the mouse is perfect because you can have it either a palm grip or fingertip grip
G500
Idk if you want a very mobile mouse. But have you had a look at the Microsoft Arc Touch Mouse?
EDIT: Also the ROCCAT Pyra seems to have mixed reviews on Amazon. Some say it has battery issues and is poorly made. However others who use it for just general use (Such as on a laptop) say it's a good mouse. I guess it's a choice of what you're gonna use it for. I do however like how it is a hybrid mouse. Pretty good when you run out of batteries and you need to urgently use a mouse.

Only because you're used to your current mouse.
I was unsure about my G400 at first, but then I got used to it and now I love it.
As for the DPI buttons, you wont even know they're there. Well, you wont with the G400 anyway.
Why are you bothering asking if you're just going to dismiss an entire fucking brand because of one mouse? I use an MX518 personally and i love it and have done so for 4 years now, the G400 is equally as good.

It's a personal preference...
It's a personal preference...
"personal preference" does not make a good product bad or a bad product good
brandwanking just limits your choice and in the end you lose out
intellimouse
intellimouse
Intellimice are not good for most new games due to limited DPI.
roccat kova+, best thing ever
Intellimice are not good for most new games due to limited DPI.
what does that even mean
and no you're wrong, I switched to my MX518 and there's literally no noticeable difference after getting used to it
[editline]17th January 2012[/editline]
and no I'm not asking you to tell me what dpi is, I'm asking you what the fuck games being newer has to do with the dpi making it worse for new games than old ones

Alot of shooters, comparatively with old shooters such as Quake require good aim. Low DPI results in this..

I never had that issue with my old 800 DPI mouse.
I just told you I'm not asking what dpi is, I know all about it
I used to be one of the top 50 duelists in QL a few months ago before my account got banned, the wmo (same thing as the intelli) is literally one of the smoothest aiming experiences there are
yes there's pixel skipping but it's a non issue, especially considering the mouse comes with the only extras you should ever need on a mouse, side buttons, and it's like $12
at least bring up the point that the best quake player in the world uses a wmo if you're going to try and argue that it impacts aim
[editline]doonbugieisfuckingretarded[/editline]
your response makes no sense, you didn't answer my question, AND you did exactly what I asked you not to do
good
lord
You asked the difference between old and new games and I told you..
Since you're retarded I had to explain why DPI matters yet you're being stiff as a corpse.
yes and you've yet to tell me what the difference between old and new games is that makes having a lower dpi worse, which doesn't even make ANY sense in the first place because the argument would be that newer games require LESS aim
yes and you've yet to tell me what the difference between old and new games is that makes having a lower dpi worse, which doesn't even make ANY sense in the first place because the argument would be that newer games require LESS aim
Older games are generally cooridor shooters where pixel skipping is a non-issue because of high bullet spread. Alot of newer games have alot more open area, tougher combat and more accurate weapons.
RO, BF2, BF3, Stalker&Co etc.

Please do.. implying IQ has anything to do with pixel skipping?
Your ego is getting ahold of your posting quality, I recommend a therapist.

I play scope in CoD4 with 800 DPI. It's fine. None of that pixel skipping nonsense at all.

Call of Duty, it matters especially in BF3 because a man can be the size of a ant. Whereas CoD is extreme CQB.
