Occasionally I would have a problem with my Saitek Cyborg where pressing the down arrow would briefly go down, but immediately act as a up an up arrow instead. But just these past few hours, the right arrow also started to do nothing, and go left if I held it down, and some letter keys would also move the cursor backwards or add another letter or number in when pressed. I've tried unplugging it and resetting the drivers, but that didn't work. I don't think it's a problem with dirt either. I don't know if it's just dying, or if it's some other problem.
Put it in the dishwasher, top rack. It could have crap in it. Just let it dry out for a few days before using it again.
It most likely is dirt, if you are feeling confident, you could dismantle it and manually clean it yourself, it would be advisable to research the ins and outs of the keyboard first, just in case there is one little spring in there, that you have no idea where its supposed to go.
If its not that, and you know for sure, then maybe its just faulty, if you still have a warranty, then maybe try getting it replaced?
Took out every key and washed the whole thing a few months ago, so I think it may be faulty, but I could try completely dismantling it.
I see, well do be careful, these newer/more sophisticated keyboards could have springs or some other mind fucking parts which are hard to tell where to put them, but if you do manage to successfully dismantle, it should have a rubber layer over the bendy clear circuitry, carefully clean that and I think it should be sorted :)
