If you actually read it it's not just a MAC update.
Most/if not all of the updates are not just for mac.

No it's not my old HP desktop computer had an ATi x1600
I believe they don't include it in the title because PC copies will download an update too - even if the code won't ever be run, so this way you still see what changed. If it only said "Mac" in the title, people would assume that can't be what was downloaded.
There are no such things are MAC graphics cards

Hmm How about never ending game? Such as it goes past round 10 and goes on until the team dies? That would be epic. And less traders every 2 rounds. Aka, after 2 rounds, the trader comes in 2 rounds, after two more rounds of traders, then 3 rounds.. etc.
Or they could coy off L4D and have vs, one side being the zeds. Would be fun IMHO.
KF needs more huge and fancy maps like Foundry.
That's the best map in the game hands down.
