• Benny Flip-Flops: Would back Palestinian State
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reversed himself for the second time in a week on support for a Palestinian state and said he would back it under the right conditions, a turnaround that the U.S. and Palestinians dismissed as unconvincing. On Monday, the day before parliamentary elections, the Israeli leader said he was in danger of losing and made a hard shift to the right—abruptly reversing his 2009 declaration of support for a two-state solution to the decades old conflict with the Palestinians. His victory on election day, which defied pre-election polls, was widely attributed to the late shift in strategy. The U.S. responded Wednesday by upending decades of American policy when it left open the possibility that it might stop using its veto to shield Israel in the United Nations. Good luck convincing the Palestinians on that
the right conditions? The fuck does that mean?
He'll support it on the condition that it doesn't actually exist.
Politician makes promises he knew he wouldn't keep to get elected. Really no rational person should be surprised.
Politician makes promises he knew he wouldn't keep to get elected. Really no rational person should be surprised.
This dirtbag should still be held accountable. Don't let freedom loving Israeli-American lobbyists cloud your judgement.
Hahaha bullshit. Nobody believes that asshole. When the chips were down he showed the world exactly who he is.
Politician makes promises he knew he wouldn't keep to get elected. Really no rational person should be surprised.
except he also said that an entire race of people is a threat to Israel but ok
the right conditions? The fuck does that mean?
When it's a cold day in hell and over his dead body.
I'm guessing the right conditions would be a peaceful secular Palestinian government that has no relationship to terrorism which is pretty much impossible.
the right conditions? The fuck does that mean?
When he watches a pig fly, which is especially unlikely because it's Israel.

It's a shame there isn't legislation out there to make political figures accountable for this sort of shit.
the right conditions? The fuck does that mean?
He means the power to create a Palestinian state exists, and the right conditions for actually using that power will form when you pry it from his cold, dead hands.
