In case you haven't realized yet, IW aren't the bad guys when it comes to what's gone on with Modern Warfare 2. It's Activision.
The hate against IW is rather unfounded anymore.

In case anyone doesn't know, IW originally didn't want to make a MW2 at all. But a douche called Activision forced them to.

They had to release a new cod game every year same does treyarch(I think).

Every 2 years. Treyarch developped world at war whilst call of duty 4 was being developed. Then when Call of Duty 4 was released, Treyarch released World at war, as Infinity Ward worked on Modern Warfare 2.
The development overlaps to make a game a year.

The way Activision acted. I'm not surprised that this many people left IW. I'm sure a lot more will drop out.
I had hoped that most IW employees would instantly say, "fuck your shit" to Activision and go after RE.
But I guess money matters more than I thought.
Activision are a bunch of morons, sure the momentum behind the MW name will grant them sales on the next few games, but that will wither and die soon. And without IW to renew that momentum (by releasing a new, great game, the name will not grant them huge sales anymore, they pretty much killed one of the (if not the) largest cash-cows ever (and it was theirs).
