I can't decide because Jimi Hendrix was a genius... but Beatles as an entity in their glory days were genius.... not heard any of their music??? here's a good track from each of the albums above JIMI HENDRIX EXPERIENCE - FIRE THE BEATLES - YOU WON'T SEE ME

I love the music the Beatles made so I choose them.
Also, what's with the sudden outburst of,"Compare something to the Beatles" threads?

Hendrix without doubt.

Calm down. And I don't have every album in a golden box. They are in a black one.
I'm gonna have to say...Fast Threads.
Gotta be Hendrix. He's a true rockstar, his music was genius. He was a true talent.
Beatles
Beatles
Fuck yes
Fuck yes
x1
The issue is that their strong points were different. While Hendrix was an amazing soloist and brought about a new era of guitar-playing and sexy sound, the Beatles did something completely different. The Beatles managed to encapsulate an age and do something which was hardly even heard of when they started--writing their own material, sometimes controversial. Songwriters (and record companies) of the time believed that all music and lyrics should be "feel good". In addition, the Beatles brought a whole new sound of their own and their specific taste, as well as giving an entire generation the courage to explore musically. While Hendrix was an amazing guitarist, the Beatles did more for the world on a whole. However, I'm still not going to say that one is better than the other. This question can go fuck itself. It's shaming music.
They where both very talented. My personal choice is The Beatles, but to be honest, they're both to good to compare.
Jimi Hendrix, his lyrics were just pure genius.

Fuck man. This is an obvious choice. The Beatles have absolutely NOTHING on Hendrix.
