Didn't know you could get such a hefty fine for not displaying a tax disc. I drove around for 6 months with an out of date tax disc because I never received it in the post, despite paying it. And when I requested another it still didn't arrive.

Then I never got a reminder when the next 6 months was due. Right fucking nightmare to get a tax disc if you don't have you're V62 or the reminder
