• Brita water filters are fucking amazing.

I hate the taste of tap water and bottled water was getting a bit expensive so about 2 weeks ago I went out and bought a Brita water filter pitcher like this: I was kinda skeptical about these things at first, but the only way I can describe these things is fucking amazing. It can filter like 40 gallons on one filter and they're only like $5 a piece. The water tastes great, even better than bottled water, and if it's any testament to that I went from drinking on average about a 12 pack of Sun Drop a week and now I've been 2 weeks or so without drinking a single one. They make filters for your faucet and fridge and everything so go get one, and experience this awesomeness.
I prefer Tap water...
I approve of this.
I prefer Tap water...
Yeah now read the thread and you'll realise it is tap water. We use these and they're pretty good, they make tea taste loads better.
I never understood the 'flavor' of water. But yeah, I got one of these. Makes it easier on us and the environment or something.
Filters are amazing. When I came here to England I found that most houses didnt have a built in filter like most houses in the states. I just wish they held more water because its good for 2-3 cups for me. ( I drink a lot of water)
Thank you OP. Gonna go out later and find one in asda :downs:

i own one :D
I agree to this, they are awesome! :buddy:
What's wrong with tap water? :<
I prefer Tap water...
I understand that you didn't actually read the OP, so let me clarify it for you. These things take all the taste-like-shit chemicals out of your tap water via carbon filters and leave you with clean water. The chemicals have already done their job by the point that the water comes out of your faucet so there is no reason for them to be in the water when you drink it. Also, water very much has a flavor. If you haven't noticed this then there's something seriously wrong with your tastebuds, go see a doctor.
Sounds cool, might go out and buy it this week.
What's wrong with tap water? :<
It has shit in it that they use at the water treatment plants. It has traces of other people's shit in it and chemicals.
DUDE! this double post shit happened to me too! Facepunch is fucking up.
I know right. My Firefox froze up a bit and I had to reload the page.
What's wrong with tap water? :<
tastes bad and its unhealthy for you. same thing with Bottled water. Tap water is actually more healthy because if something is wrong with the water the government will let you know. Bottled Water companies just throw it out there to consume and then you have to worry about BPA poisoning.
I've never really understood the taste difference thing. A quite large chunk of bottled water companies use a public water supply anyway also
My mam got a gigantic water filter installed under our sink a few years back, I didn't really notice any change in the taste, but now when I drink someone else's tapwater, I almost gag at the smell and taste of chlorine.
See this? Go die in it. (User was banned for this post ("flaming/trolling" - RawRKat!90))
It has shit in it that they use at the water treatment plants. Example: Chocolate Anyways, Water is Water as long as it doesn't kill you or make you sick. Tap water has done neither of those things to me, so I don't need any expensive filters.
They are ok, but we just buy sports bottles fill them with water and leave them in the fridge untill you want one. Tastes fine to me
These are fucking useless.

I've heard English water tastes shit, but Scottish water is brilliant but I might try one of these filters.

[editline]04:51PM[/editline]
I've heard English water tastes shit, but Scottish water is brilliant but I might try one of these filters.
yep yep yep, I heard something like some 3rd world countries have better water filters than the UK does.

They make nests in the piles when the chocolate is being made. Yum.
I don't get it, does it filter out the "bad" things in the water or what? Ya know, there's a major problem with doing just that (atleast on a larger scale). Those itsy bitsy bacterial creatures in the water is good for us. As in; you'll build up your immune system
who are you talking to? also you can distill water in Fire :D
bitch he be talking to da hoooooe i prefer tap water tbh, here in britan its tatsy as fuck. dont know about u americans though u all seem to have realkly bad tatsing stuff IMO
The average chocolate bar has at least 8 species of insect in it? They make nests in the piles when the chocolate is being made. Yum.
Cereal has thousands of insect eggs in it. Hot dogs are made from low-grade byproducts of meat processing. BLAH BLAH BLAH Who cares, it tastes good, and we would eat such things in a natural situation anyway. Just ignore it. All those things that scared people about hot dogs and what not just made me hungry so I went and bought a pack and fired up the grill.
Who cares, it tastes good, and we would eat such things in a natural situation anyway. Just ignore it.
Exactly. I view water in the same way.
