Anyone here tried either Nuvigil (armodafinil) or Provigil (modafinil)? I am on a constant regiem of Risperdal, and it makes me a drooling vegatable. I also have Ativan because I sometimes have hallucinations that freak me out real bad. And bad trouble sleeping. Anyways this stuff generally makes me pretty dang sleepy all day. My doc gave me free samples of of Nuvigil. Before with another doctor I had the same symptoms of being quite tired, and tried adderal, took one pill and just noped, never again. But Nuvigil seems to really work well. It really has the 'no jitters, jaw clenching" ect. of common stimulants. And no crash if you dont take it to specifically stay awake longer than you should. Though if I have it more than twice a week I cant hold down any food at all. Keeps me not feeling like a my dad who falls infront of the TV all the time.
TL;DR What are some of your guysm who have tried either, opinion on them? I notice very slight europhia, but that may from just "feeling normal".

pretty much any side effect med that isn't a stimulant won't make you feel better.
try lower doses of vyvanse in the morning. 5-10 mg to start. it's constant release lasting for around 12 hours maybe more, and with such a low dose being spread about 12 hours i don't think you'd have any problems at all. the thing about stims is you gotta get used to them, but you can always lower the dose.
ativan and risperdone? god damn son. but you seem to have a pretty low tolerance especially with your reactions to uppers seeming to be so bad for you.
although at one point i was taking 700 seroquel and 3mg klonopin, sometimes more daily. functioned normally.
I take 1mg ativan a day 3mg riserdone a day, and 0.5mg halcion on day which is actualy the max RX'able dose, it's crazy, I don't hallucinate too much anymore but damn, I am really, really paranoid and it causes extreme anxiety. And for some reason I am incredibly senstive to any type of stimulant, even caffine and just otc pseudoephedrine almost gives me panic attacks. My old doc gave me a low does adderal, one pill and I was so nuts it scared me, even though I did feel very high. My current psychiatrist said he will not put me on any amphetamines or ADD/ADDHD meds because the priorty is not freaking out and I told him I'm way too senstive even on a bar of xanax.

I have an old ass doctor, haha. I was having awful times sleeping he told me this will "just work". Damn powerful stuff, it's like phen but only lasts about 1.5-2 hours. Comes in 0.125mg and 0.25mg, mostly used in america for dental work now I think.
