I've met lots of Americans who honestly aren't aware that Canada has a military at all, let alone that we're involved in Afghanistan. Which is really very sad.
I figured I'd dedicate one topic on the GD to our troops and their prowess.
The Canadian Forces may be small in terms of numbers, and we may not have the best equipment. But when it comes to expertise, discipline and training, we are among the best. Any basic-trained Canadian Forces Infantryman can be said to operate at an equal level of proficiency to a U.S. Army Ranger, if not higher.
We currently have no designated attack helicopters and rely largely on the United States for CAS, but we are otherwise independent..
A Canadian Army sniper currently holds the world record for the longest range sniper kill.
I've searched Youtube for a little while and found some great videos of Canadian soldiers training, or in action.
We fought in the First and Second World Wars and the Korean War, and we'll continue to be where we're needed.

I remember reading about the Canadian Armed Forces in a book somewhere.
Canada basically fought in every war but nobody knows.
Canada is taking over GD :ohdear:

While it's certainly fun to make fun of them, Canadians are very pleasant and helpful people.
The Canadian military is a joke.
Canada has an excellent military.

Bitch don't know about the Canadian Military.
Those first two videos were intense.
Also I heard somewhere that 40% of Canadian males enlisted during WW2.

I (as a Canadian) know this

Say that once more and Upper Canada will come and burn your white house down again.
The Canadian military is a joke.
You're an idiot. Of the nations working in Afghanistan, Canada is usually held in very high regard. You know who ranks the lowest? The Dutch and The Americans. Truth hurts don't it?
Next to the British and the Australians, they probably have some of the best trained infantry on offer.

Or blow your brains out from across the boarder with Rob Furlong or Arron Perry.
This is so necessary.

You may have noticed that the Canadian flag gets larger over time. This is true. Here is the size of the Canadian Flag today:

Proud to be Canadian.

I don't think I need to join the military, though. We're fine.

I'm glad somebody agrees. give me ratings, child.
Why are people disrespecting Canada? They are allied with the US so let's not start a US vs Canada flame war.
