So i have been asking round on the forms about which AMD cards is the best for me and i have narrowed down on the 6850 and 6870 for my budget. I have read reviews and the 6850 has better price per performance than nVIDIA's cards that try to compete with it. I also read that the 6870 and 560 Ti for my price range are pretty much even but i would rather go down the AMD path. I have been recommended the Sapphire 6850 and HIS 6850 but I'm not sure if there an cards in the 6870 series that may be a better choice for the $20 extra bucks to get the Sapphire equivalent. I am fine with settling for the 6850 but i am really asking whether or not there is a good reason i should invest in the 6870 instead right now.
If it helps I am running a FX-4100 on a 990FX fatality board in a storm scout case. Your suggestions would be appreciated and your complaints ignored.
oh budget is anything under ~170

if you have the money for the 6870 get it, it really isn't that hard to decide if you have the budget for it.
That being said, MAKE DAMN SURE you have an SSD before anything as well.
Oh yeah, while doing this it's been really hard to refrain from commenting on the bulldozer, so, why on earth would you get a bulldozer?

Christmas present from my dad. And i am not getting an ssd yet cause it won't fit right now. Probably this summer ill get one though
