Am I the only one that doesn't use a stupid anti-virus?

I mean they pretty much took all my speed and fcked my pc with every new virus found and i had to eventually reinstall windows xp so i said fuck it and never used one since then 1 year with no problems there are some viruses that don't do anything bad :colbert:
Why not just use Microsoft Security Essentials?
It's extremely lightweight in terms of its resource footprint.
I don't use anything third party, I'm assuming MSE is working, but I'm not fussed if it isn't.
MSE is great. Can it be slipstreamed to the DVD somehow? Perhaps with SP1?

yeah your computer runs fine because it needs to let you enter your card details and passwords
I use common sense 2011.
If you don't use one of some sort, i'm sure you deserve to get a virus
I use these:
- MSE
- Malwarebytes once a month
- Common sense
I use Avast! MBam and common Sense 2011
Comodo. MBam, Common sense 1995 edition.
I'm not "really" using one either. All I have is an on-demand scanner (no background-guard shit which is for computer-illiterate) and common sense concerning "files from the internet". I'm just automatically scanning files I download from the net (wrote a little script) and that's it. Going that way for years now and last infection was, when I was a teenager (8-10 years ago) and a friend of mine installed a troyan while I was at a lan-party. Since that day I lock my PC with a password when I'm leaving and disabled all autorun-features.
MBAM or common sense.

That's the winning combination I install on my client's machines. Myself, I run Linux with Avast!, because you never really know.
I'll probably never use anything other than MSE and Common Sense 2012 Milestone 1 Build 8192.0.110211-0508
Common sense and process scanner

And how can you tell if you have a virus when there is nothing to tell you? Not all viruses are in your face "LOL U haz pr0N!!!!" pop-ups, or malicious file deleters. Some just sit there, passively, not doing much noticable, but leave gaping wounds in the OS security. If your computer is slowing down from a AV, your computer is shit, or your choice of AV is god awful.
Comodo using the resident shield, Spybot and MBAM monthly. Nothing has gotten through yet and my PC runs fine. Common sense is not the answer to everything.
DISZ IS BETTA THAN EVRYTHIN

YEAH I GOT IT 1 YEAR AHEAD BITCHES.
Wait... Google says there is no Common Sense 2012. I must have a rou- YOUR COMPUTER IS INFECTED WITH MALWARE! CLICK HERE TO ACTIVATE YOUR LICENSE! FORK OVER ALL YOUR LIFE SAVINGS OR LET US DESTROY YOUR COMPUTER FOR FREE!
EITHER WAY YOU'RE STILL FUCKED!
Edit:
I am obviously the dumbest person here, therefore I need more boxes
Avast, also I use Virustotal if I want to be absolutely sure.
MSE only because Common sense won't install :suicide:
