Hey everyone.
I've just bought a Panasonic SDR-S50 today for recording my videos and such, and the output format for the clips I record is MPEG-2. I usually use just Windows Movie Maker to edit my AVI videos but it can't support MPEG-2, so I thought i'd just convert the clips to WMV or AVI. The problem is now that they lose their quality because of being converted.
This is really really fucking frustrating considering I've been tearing my hair out all day yesterday, which was my birthday, and today about this shit.
Can anyone help me Please?

You can convert the clip and keep the quality.
You just need to use the correct settings.
