The Grand Tour — the new show from ex-Top Gear hosts Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May — is coming to Amazon Prime Video on November 18th. Amazon announced the show's premiere date in a bombastic YouTube clip that features the kind of fast cars and exotic locales that the Grand Tour promises to show, with the trio heading around the world to film in South Africa, California, Germany, and the UK, among other places.
Can't wait! Shite haus logo though.
Love the logo.
Damn, I was hoping when it said "What could go wrong" that we'd see a few flashes of them in accidents or dumb situations haha.
Really looking forward to this. The show itself could be utter shit but those three together make anything watchable and enjoyable.
logo reminds me of gran turismo

If its anything like what they were up to in top gear, then we good.
I really hope they still do ones with cheap little cars they have to choose for outlandish journeys. Those are always the best episodes.
If they continue their tradition of special episodes it will be an excellent show.
I saw three goofy-looking dune buggies in the trailer, hopefully that means absurd specials are back
From what I've seen so far, I'm a little bit worried that The Grand Tour will be like a sterilised Top Gear. Not because they censor Clarkson but because they focus too much on new/expensive cars rather than shitty cars and novel challenges. For me, the most memorable episodes were ones like driving through the Amazon in used, UK bought 4x4s, building a rickety bridge over a river in some Asian country then having a slope walk across it, turning a Reliant Robin into a space shuttle and the hover van.
Also, if they're going to be basing a few of the episodes in the US, I hope that they sorted whatever was gimping the BBC from doing actual interesting episodes (I heard it was some bureaucratic visa bullshit which forced them to do "factual" filming).
It would be ironic to see a weekly feature with guest celebrities pitted against each other driving around a track with the fastest time winning, with Chris Evans as one of the guests perhaps.
“F*ck,” screams Richard Hammond.
“F*ck!”
He’s strapped into a dune buggy dangling hundreds of feet in the air.
“What the f*ck is this?”
Super excited for this, stoked to see the trio on TV again.
Well... There was an awful lot of supercar porn, and not a whole lot of cheap rubbish beating around off-road, or insane custom creations. That was my favorite part of Too Gear, so I hope there's plenty of it, and this doesn't represent the entire breadth of Grand Tour.

The teaser is almost entirely teasing the first episode's Top-Gear-Promised showdown from the first episode. I wouldn't worry about it. Gotta show off all that Amazon money.
Worried about how they're delivering it to Australia, Amazon Prime apparently isn't a thing over here yet.

It'd be suicide if they didn't work out some kind of legal way for us to get it before launch, otherwise everyone will just start pirating and not bother switching over once we can
I'm sure with a budget of £4.5 million per episode more than four times the budget of the original Top Gear that Amazon would have thought this through.

Theirs going to be plenty of that, theirs already pics of various jalopies and junk driving around at their filming locations
Is this available for Canadians?
