I'm heading out to Japan on Friday for 3 weeks and I'm wondering what are some neat things to do there, and what stuff I should bring back?
Where in Japan?
Basically everywhere. The main places I'll be going to are Tokyo and Nagoya.
Try their love hotels, and post your experience.
Go to Hiroshima, o.o
love hotels?
Marry a pillow.

Visit an A-Bomb site. [editline]03:46AM[/editline]
Why would he want to see that?
Because shit like that is extremely rare and almost never happens now?
I'll try to go to at least one of the sites.

Go to a club. I'd say go skiing but it's summer there.
Take pictures of the stuff they have in vending machines, like phones and whatnot.
I lived there for 8 years (Air Force) And to get the full experience (if your taller than 5'5'') Is to go on a subway, preferably near Shibuya, and admire the rolling sea of black hair. Next, buy some used panties from a vending machine. After that, order food from a sit down restaurant (preferably at my favorite steak place; Donkies) Oh yeah, and if they still have it, buy the Terriyaki Burger from Mcdonalds. I still miss that damn burger...
Actually people still die of cancer caused by the bombs.
Hiroshima was declared safe after a week or something like that. It's only the Hibakusha that are fucked.
Tokyo is supposed to have amazing nightclubs as far as i know, otherwise you could always go to some arcades or just shop :v: Also you should go out of town and tour the countryside, catch a few Pokemon and whatnot
Tokyo tower
Tokyo tower
They have a hologram show there. It was wierd as hell. It was set up like a living room, but the woman living there was a hologram, and then this devil dude came outta nowhere and started chasing her around after 20 minutes of dialogue. If I remember correctly, she killed him with an umbrella. tl;dr Japan had holograms before Tom Cruise in Vanilla Sky.
love hotels?
Brothels
Not Tokyo Tower, there are other observation decks that are better and more importantly FREE (i.e. Tokyo Metropolitan Government building or the one in Shiodome) Spend a lot of time wandering around Shibuya and Shinjuku at night, there is much adventure to be had.

The shit they have in there was amazing.

Money isn't really a problem for me. Nearly everything is paid for by the government :buddy:.
I went to Osaka-Kobe for 8 days, it was awesome. It's the best feeling when you get out of the humidity and heat, and into an air conditioned cab or train. You need to go to a restaurant such as Genko, even though I am a vegetarian there was plenty to eat.
