I was there, feel free to ask me questions.
Bad month for trains, eh?
You can get a good look at the damage starting from the 20:00 mark.
Holy jesus, that looks awful. Hope the deaths are as minimal as possible.

Do you think this thread will stay on track about the topic or will it be derailed?

Well..
Kind of late really but since you were there, I guess it's time to shoot the questions.
Did you witness anything weird going on such as "young people" assaulting the rescuers and the wounded to grab their cellphone and cash? We have lots of testimonies (one of my friend being one of them), an official statement from the police syndicate, yet the rescuers stated that nothing happened.
I know what to think, I'm trusting my friend and the police, I believe the government doesn't want a new social scandal in those already troubled times and probably ordered the SAMU to keep it quiet, but another insider's testimony would be great.
I guess they lost track of things.

Yes I have seen people trying to steal things, and also launching some debris at cars.

Fucking animals, thank you for the answer.

Well try to be fair, we are all animals and it is proven. They are acting like that because of their own reasons, and it is really bad. They should act more maturely, and if they are not happy they should express themselves instead of launching rocks.
