• Need a cheap but nice PC build

My family is sick and tired of the shitty pc they're using, and want me to build them a new one. I was thinking in the $300 range, I know that's low, but I don't want an ~ultra gaming pc~ Just something useful for internet browsing, and is pretty fast. I can't really give you any parts - can't find any good ones, I've only built one PC in my life
Do you have a monitor/keyboard/mouse or any other salvageable parts?
Yeah, A keyboard, an a mouse, but they have an old CRT monitor that is beyond shit, and when you jiggle the wires the screen turns purple

Damn that was fast, anything better? Or is that a good build?

No it's a terrible build and I'm saving my best one for later.

I think build I posted is the sweet spot.
Surely Ferrus can find a cheaper case that is decent.

Good amount cheaper than ferrus' even after shipping (which he didn't include.) I even have that cpu along with my 4770. It's quite zippy. I can even get it to 3.5ghz on stock volts :mario:
What?!! No video card?
Damn that was fast, anything better? Or is that a good build?
That's really as good as it gets for your budget and needs, also what are your current specs?
