The story of how I subconciously saved my own life
44 replies, posted
Alright so last night shit went down. I went to bed on my side next to the window as always. I wake up at around 3 A.M since I was cold for some reason. I roll over because, for some reason, I was not on the side I usually sleep on.... then I bumped into part of my damn window (the slide panel I think it's called) that somehow fell onto my bed. I look at it for about a minute. Now know I'm not the guy who goes into dramatics jsut because part of my technically glass window falls down. It was reattachable so I simple reattached it back, and its working fine. The funny thing is, if I didn't roll over that night I would probably be squashed right now
TL:DR: Rolling over to the side of my bed I don't sleep on saved me from being squashed by part of my window, which I then simple reattached
I doubt it would have killed you
Good to know you're still alive...
Although, I don't know you, so if you would have died, I wouldn't have noticed. :/
You are one lucky sonofabitch.
Have a subconscious high five!
How big is it, and how small are you?

It's a window.. it shouldn't be that big..
But then again, he could be a midget..
how big is this window that it would have killed you?
Woah!
Well I guess I'm off to read more exciting stories on Facepunch

The question was already asked! D:<
How high up is your window?
Anybody else have to read this twice to understand what he's on about? Or am I just an idiot.
I remember going out my back door, and slammed it then the glass fell out of it, I was walking just fast enough for it to miss my head. :3: Good times. Windows are deadly.
How heavy is your window and did you attach razor blades to it

He usually sleeps on one side, but this night he rolled over and moved a bit.
Window fell down onto the place where he usually sleeps.
Posted on Facepunch with a fancy title and story.

Dude, my window fell down and didnt hit me
Fucking adrenaline pumping excitement story
I'd get that window checked out; next time you might not be so lucky.
Also, I need a picture or something because I don't really understand what part of the window it is.

True, I exaggerated a bit, but it would've caused me a certain level of pain

Death and certain level of pain are quite different things. Pinching can give me 'a certain level of pain'

Poking someone can give a certain level of pain..
If you could simply "re-attach" part of a window then I seriously doubt it could've killed you.
It wouldn't have killed you, at most you may have gotten a bruise.
You must have some giant windows.
Edit: The human body can withstand a hell of a lot more than you think.
i subconsciously save my life every second by keeping my heart beating :smug:
