Ok, so I was at home the other day, and I had a crazy bet with a mate. As soon as I get paid in 3 days, he and I are hitting the nearest pub and we are gonna try and out drink each other. I need advice here. I'm 18 (legal drinking age in australia... no illegal there) and my mate is 20, he has an extra 2 years on me. I need a good drink i can order at any pub (other than beer) that i can drink lots of without getting hammered fast. Any advice?
I should note, i can drink cans of woodstock at 5.75% or something at about 2 cans per minute.
Advice?
Also, while we are here, lets discuss our favourite drinks. I like bourbon and cola because I'm not very creative.
I love Jack Daniels from the bottle. But, I will drink almost any alcohol.

I like tequila. It's not too coarse like whiskey or something similar, and I enjoy the whole "ritual" with the salt and lemon. But don't drink that with your bud because you will be sloshed.
CC and dry is pretty good, make sure they squeeze a lime into the drink.
but if you just want to keep drinking all night and are too much of a pussy for beer try cider.

If you drink some craft beers they're not that generic, plus becoming knowledgeable of the tastes of lots of beers actually lets you start lots of convos for people and the older generation of dudes appreciate a man who knows his beers which can be useful in getting along with future employees etc

Also you could drink whiskey and dry thats also good, glenfiddich whiskey is mega nice.
Vodka redbull always goes down well, long island ice tea fucks you up and tastes delicious, frangelico and vanilla galliano over the rocks is also delicious. Kahlua and coke is good, khalua and milk tastes like you're drinking coffee but it gets you drunk, add vodka to that and you've got yourself a white russian.
