• Request for a horror movie

Hey! I'm going to watch a couple of horror movies, and I need help from you guys to find some i might like. It needs to be similar too ''Paranormal Activity'', not ''The Texas Chainsaw Massacre''. With that I mean that it has to be a demon, not a murder whom is ''making'' the horror. Sorry if this thread was unnecessary, so the mods can take their time and delete it when I've got a movie too watch :)
So basically it needs to be not scary?
Jennifer's Body?
Go for The Ring or Drag me to hell
The Innkeepers
watch Nosferatu. It's not scary at all. :)
Rosemary's Baby. Not really a horror but...
Grave Encounters was pretty good. Not the scariest movie ever, but it's like Paranormal Activity and is sort of demons. More ghosts, but they're fucked up ghosts.
Poltergeist The Exorcist The Omen Grave Encounters was barely okay and features a pretty retarded twist.
The Entity 1982, it's Paranormal Activity with rape.
The Grudge I would also recommend Chernobyl diaries but it sucked and it wasn't really ghosts either. The Ring Dead Silence
Well I recommend to you the following movies: Stay alive Insidious Mirrors 1 & 2
Thanks guys, I really appreciate it, I've downloaded every movie you guys have recommended. So they better be good!

Pumpkinhead 1 and 2 are about demons. I kind of like that series and its a great concept.
Hellraiser Jeepers Creepers (find the creeper very unsettling) [editline]23rd July 2012[/editline]
watch Nosferatu. It's not scary at all. :)
Terrifying aside from the fact that it's a silent movie
What about The Last Broadcast? It's not necessarily "demons" but it's about the Jersey Devil, and it's one of the first horror films to use the found footage style (and does it quite well).

Blair Witch Project, old but i think its good, scary in the sense that you can't see whats causing the horror. Stephen King said in an interview that he couldn't finish watching it.
I could send you the sex tape my parents made, worst horror I've ever seen.

How about "Devil"? that movie is crazy entertaining like "The Happening"
In the Mouth of Madness. One of my absolute favorites, it's inspired by HP Lovecraft's work and does a fantastic job of representing his writing without actually being based on any of his stories. As you requested, the antagonists are demons/eldritch abominations.
I don't care about your specifics. Watch a couple of these if you haven't already: -Halloween (1978) -Dawn of the Dead (1978) -Martyrs (2008) -The Descent (2005) -The Evil Dead, Evil Dead II, Army Of Darkness (1981-1992) -Alien (1979)
I wouldn't consider Evil Dead just horror, it has some cheesy comedic stuff though.
Comedy and horror are perfectly balanced in the second one. The third one is mostly comedy, if not all comedy. It's still part of a horror series though. I figured I'd add it. Hey, if it's any consolation, it's scarier than "Paranormal Activity".
I did get the chills down my spine from it though, so I kinda get it. Best B-movie Ive watched. Groovy.
